First time eating rice cereal

Kate loves to eat her bottles but we weren't sure how she would like rice cereal. She loves the idea of it, she's just having a little trouble figuring out how to swallow it. She's very eager to eat but then she spits it out. We're practicing a little every other day and she'll get the hang of it. She likes her highchair but she's suspicious of the horse toy I bought to go on it.

Kate is 4 months old!

Actually she was 4 months old last Thursday so I'm a little behind. She had her 4 month dr appointment yesterday. She is still growing at 15 lbs 6 oz and 25.5 in. She's still in the 90% percentile. The nurse did her shots really fast and she cried for a little while but she got over it quickly. She was all smiles by the time we left the dr's office.

The dr said she can start eating rice cereal and vegetable or fruit baby food. I'm sure we'll get some good pictures of her eating for the blog.

Kate outgrew her baby tub so I had to get her a new one. I tried to get her a safety seat but it didn't fit on our tub right so I got her this inflatable duck. She doesn't sit up all the time and kind of slumps over sometimes so I have to kind of prop her up. I think she'll grow into it.

I was so sad when Ann moved down to Nashville but she came to visit---yay!! She brought Kate this bear that she loves to slobber on....

Kate has been rolling over for about 2 weeks now and I got it on video...

Kate really likes the Baby Bjorn so last weekend I put her in just to walk around outside. She helped me water the flowers. She really loves her playmat and Elmo!

She can't do it when it's full and she doesn't hold it all the time but sometimes she will hold it. She definitely likes to help hold her bottle. She's getting so big, I can't believe that this week she will be 4 months old already.

This weekend hung out at home and then Sat I took Kate to see her Grandma and Grandpa. She showed off her new trick rolling over. She's been doing it for about 2 weeks but in the last week she's gotten really fast. Sunday Uncle Ben came over to see her and he's feeding her while she's holding her bottle in the picture above.

Kate's 1st vacation!

This weekend we went to a wedding in Pennsylvania. It was Kate's first ride on a plane and her first hotel stay. She did really well and slept halfway there and all the way back. We had a lot of fun walking around Bethlehem. It's a reall cute little town. Kate picked out a toy at the toy store. She loved the Baby Bjorn carrier so she could see everything going on.

Haven't written in a while

We've been really busy lately so the blog hasn't been updated very often. Kate is doing well and getting bigger every day. She had a lot of excitement this weekend with a lot of visitors and we went to visit Jamisen's family too.
